Brave the Cold at the Outdoor Freeze-In

Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors are invited to spend the day learning winter survival skills at our Outdoor Freeze-In! Girls will spend 8 hours testing their skills by building a shelter, cooking meals over an open fire, and just having fun!

If you’re looking for a challenge, GSSEM’s Outdoor Freeze-In is just what you need. Join us January 30, from 10 AM through 6 PM as girl get the adventure of a lifetime learning how to survive in freezing temperatures. Participants will be assigned to work in small, socially-distant groups and will also be required to wear face masks.

Remember! Before the event, participants MUST attend a couple 40-minute Zoom meetings, which will equip them with the skills and knowledge to safely accomplish this challenge. Zoom links will be sent to girls after they register.

Registration ends January 15 (or sooner if event reaches capacity), so sign up today!

If you have any questions about this event, please email outdooreducation@gssem.org. If you have any problems registering, please email helpdesk@gssem.org.
