GSSEM’s Third Annual Tough Enough Breakfast Raises More than $30,000 for Girls

On Thursday October 29, GSSEM honored five women, Olga Alavanou, Denise Brooks-Williams, Camille Nicita, Amy Peterson, and Michele Samuels for being “Tough Enough to be a Girl Scout.”

The fundraiser supported Camp CEO, its new mentor program that connects girls with powerful women across the region. The money raised will directly impact Camp CEO 2021 and mentorship opportunities for girls in middle and high school. The event included networking, a message from GSSEM’s new CEO Monica Woodson, and a speech from recent Girl Scout turned Firefighter, Noelle Myshock.
