My Promise My Faith Goes Virtual

Did you know that March 7-13 is Girl Scout Week? This is the time to reflect on what it means to be a Girl Scout and all of the amazing things Girl Scouts do to make the world a better place. This year, you’re invited to celebrate by participating in GSSEM’s annual My Promise My Faith event. The theme is HEALING.

My Promise, My Faith event is a great way to observe Girl Scout Sabbath, Girl Scout Sunday or Girl Scout Jummuh safely during the pandemic. This enlightening event is open to all Girl Scouts and celebrates religious traditions through inclusion, diversity, and unity. It is truly an opportunity for girls to see the beauty in our differences.

Girl Scouts of all levels will take an interactive level-appropriate journey online and will earn a certificate and their My Promise, My Faith pin.

What to expect:

  • Healing prayers and songs from many of the world’s religions
  • Hands-on activities
  • Words of wisdom from our very own heroes: Women in our community who are making the world a better place.
  • Women who’ve taken action throughout history and explore how you can take action, too.

This event has already gone viral, with girls from Germany, California, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, and more registered. Come see what all of the hype is about!

Registration lasts until March 20, 2021, so everyone looking to participate still has plenty of time! This is a FREE event.

Visit gssem.org/mpmf to register today.
