“Girl Scouts provided me a safe space to build friendships, grow confidence, and develop essential social skills,” said Bianca, currently double majoring in communications and Spanish at Central Michigan University. “My first camp trip, and being away from home for a week, was life-changing!”

• STEAM- Through STEAM, Girl Scouts become better problem-solvers and critical thinkers while gaining confidence to turn their ideas into breakthrough inventions to help others.
• Life Skills- A mix of practical skills, tools, and activities that foster positive values in Girl Scouts like financial literacy, civic engagement, and community service.
• Outdoors- Multiple outdoor opportunities inspire Girl Scouts to develop a lifelong appreciation of nature while encouraging them to become environmental stewards in their community and across the globe.
• Entrepreneurship- Our programs are geared to jumpstart an entrepreneurial mindset and teach Girl Scouts the essentials of running a business and how to think like entrepreneurs.
GSSEM builds partnerships with other organizations, businesses and professionals to offer enriching and educational opportunities for all Girl Scouts.
