GSSEM Honors Volunteers at the Volunteer National Awards Banquet

In honor of National Volunteer Month, Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan celebrated nearly 100 volunteers, who selflessly continue to give their time, resources, and guidance to girls throughout the council.

Volunteers are the heart of everything we do here at GSSEM. Without them, there would be no us. We know our volunteers lead incredibly busy lives, and we’re so grateful for the commitment they make and the passion they bring to helping the Girl Scouts they serve be their best selves. It is an honor to recognize them.

At the ceremony, volunteers received one of the following awards:

  • Friend of Girl Scouting
  • Girl Scout Adult Religious Recognitions
  • Volunteer of Excellence
  • Appreciation Pin
  • Honor Pin
  • Thanks Badge
  • Thanks Badge II
