Troop 77206 decided to think outside the box and give back while working towards their Bronze Award, making a huge impact to both Camp Hawthorn Hollow (CHH) and all of the future campers to come.

When Troop 77206 went camping at CHH last summer, they noticed that the provided pots and pans could use a little updating. That’s when they reached out to GSSEM’s Director of Camp Programming and expressed their interest in equipping Camp Hawthorn Hollow’s lodges with new cookware.

Not only did the troop fundraise enough to purchase new cookware for eight lodges, they took it a step further by making it girl-led by creating their own cookbook that will displayed in each of the lodges for other Girl Scout troops to use!
