Be a Badge Boss Online

The Badge Boss Virtual Saturday Series is still going strong, continuing through the end of the year! Our Badge Boss programs provide girls and their families with a clear road map for success, that focus on three of the four Girl Scouts Pillars. Participation simply requires a computer, tablet, or phone with internet access.

Grow, learn, and have fun participating in the following activities:

September 19–Business owner badge

Juniors (4th & 5th grade)

Description: Thinking of starting a business someday? Here’s your chance to learn the basics on running a successful business, including how to manage finances.

September 26 – Entrepreneur Badge

Cadettes (6th through 8th grade)

Description:  Learn to think like an entrepreneur by identifying business opportunities, and developing strategies for implementation.

October 3 – Diversity, Inclusion and Togetherness Patch

Brownies (2nd & 3rd grade)

Description: Deepen your understanding and respect for the people who may be different from you, and learn how to better relate to others, regardless of skin color cultural backgrounds. We are unique in our own way!

October 10– Automotive 2: Engineering Badge

Brownies (2nd & 3rd grade)

Description: Explore how automotive engineers build vehicles, and engineer your own vehicle model to help people during emergencies.

October 17– Automotive 2:  Engineering Badge

Juniors (4th & 5th grade)

Description: Find out how automobile engineers fuel the future by building and testing vehicles. Learn how to use the design thinking process to plan, build and test prototypes.

October 24–Car Care Badge

Seniors (9th through 12th grade)

Description: Learn all about cars’ fuel efficiency and engineering. More importantly, take away useful safe-driving tips and how to properly take care of a car.

November 7– Financing My Future

Seniors (9th through 12th grade)

Description: Develop smart financial habits that’ll benefit you for the rest of your life! This is the time to plan for your educational future and review resources on how to pay for it.  

November 14–Budgeting

Cadettes (6th through 8th grade)

Description: Learn how to keep track of your money so you can save for the things you need AND want. You’ll also take this time exploring the wonderful ways of giving back.

November 21– Money Manager

Brownies (2nd & 3rd grade)

Description: Learn how to manage money wisely, and the difference between needs and wants.

December 5–First Aid Badge

Juniors (4th & 5th grade)

Description: Find out how to respond in an emergency situation. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a portable first-aid kit, and will know how to take care of someone who’s sick.

December 12–Eating For You

Cadettes (6th through 8th grade)

Description: Keep your skin glowing, mind focused, and energy flowing as you take a positive approach to eating and cooking.
