Girl Scouts Share their Badge in a Box Experiences!

GSSEM is excited to share what our Girl Scouts have been doing with their Badge in a Boxes! The Badge in a Box program is designed to make earning badges as easy as possible, with a full kit of materials and access to online worksheets and videos.

Addelynn P. completed the Daisy Journey, Between Earth and Sky, where she learned how to plant seeds, take care of a garden, and what plants need to grow! Using the Between Earth and Sky Badge in a Box kit as well as materials from around the house, Addelynn made her very own fairy garden.

“Hi! My name is Addelynn P, I am 6 years old and in 1st grade. I am Daisy in Troop 71627 out of Clio Michigan. I love being in my troop we do so many fun activities like completing a camping unit and selling cookies at the cookie booths.”

Sisters Avery and Aubrey M. completed the Automotive Engineering Badge in a Box together and learned how to design, engineer, and manufacture their own cars! This is what Avery said about being an engineer:

“I liked doing this because I got to design and test my models. I made a portable vet clinic! I liked testing my car because I got to see how it handled on different road conditions.”

Aubrey also had a few things to say.

“I had so much fun doing the Automotive Badge in a Box! My favorite part was having my mom and dad help me design my birthday party truck that brings parties to a lot of boys and girls. My truck I built with LEGOs looked a lot like my design I drew on paper.”
