On June 27, Girl Scouts hosted an exciting end of the year celebration called Girl Scouts Run the World, and it was one for the books! With so much going on, it was the perfect time for ALL girls (and boys too!) to have fun, dance, and win tons of giveaways.

This exclusive Instagram Live event featured special performances and Q&A with Jam Jr. music group, Run The World, music by 13-year-old twin DJs Amira and Kayla, and product giveaways from Girl Scouts and Justice. Kheris and Corinne from Run The World opened up the Insta Live talking about their new group with other members Jessalyn and Hayley. Corinne, well known for her tik tok dances, even gave a dance tutorial for the group’s new song, Rainbows! As told by Jessalyn in Part 2 of the live, the group’s mission is to empower other girls to “run their world” and be their best selves. GIRL POWER!

Part 3 featured a 30 minute set by DJs, Amira and Kayla, who rocked it. Literally. Thirty minutes of nonstop dancing. What’s better than that on a Saturday evening?!

Despite a couple technical hiccups, everyone had an absolute blast, and even learned a new dance or two. This is a time to celebrate accomplishments together, as Girl Scouts around the world look forward to the summer and a brighter future ahead.
