Girl Only version! Girls will gain independence, learn new skills, and make memories that will last a lifetime while spending five days away from home—in the great outdoors.
For those of you who are thinking ‘Wait. I thought Girl Scout was just for girls?! Boys can go too?!,‘ don’t worry! Girl Scouts is just for girls, but
Girl Only Camp means a week away from parents, troop leaders and volunteers. It’s just girls, camp counselors and the good ol’ outdoors.
This year, there are six adventurous camps to choose from—all offering something different for every girl out there:
CAMP FURY June 24-28
Join the ranks of those who ensure public safety for our communities. Girls will train alongside firefighters and law enforcement personnel in search and rescue skills, crime scene investigation techniques, and perform physical fitness drills.
ULTIMATE SURVIVOR July 8-12
Get hands on experience learning outdoor skills that will take your adventures to the next level. Girls will earn the Hiking, Fire building, LNT and Archery outdoor skill patches during their stay.
ENGINEER INNOVATION July 22-26
This session will focus on the ins and outs of engineering, while still incorporation traditional camp activities. Girls will learn the engineering process, build prototypes and take action with a project at camp.
STEM AND FLOWER August 12-16
Find out how Scientists think, make observations, collect data and give feedback on research. Participate in a Citizen Science Project and investigation games.
CAMP LIKE A GIRL August 26-30
Pack your backpacks and GO!—on a journey! Hike, practice first-aid and work on a take action project at camp.
CAMP CEO September 11-13
Unleash your inner Go-Getter, Innovator, Risk-Taker, and Leader powers at Camp CEO! Girls will be partnered with some of Southeastern Michigan’s top women executives and prepare to leave inspired!
